Jan 17, 2024 · For decades, developers have explored what to do with Underground Atlanta. But now, the long vacant downtown retail center is entering a new phase as a grassroots arts hub, recently hiring set designer Marina Skye and artist Mike Stasny to direct the project. GPB’s Jake Cook spoke with Stasny and artist Jamie Shelton at Stasny’s studio space and art venue in Underground Atlanta. These artists are capable of different tattoo styles, from traditional American to realism. The tattoo parlor is committed to maintaining a sterile workspace, and the artists only use safe, high-quality pigments and single-use needles.
